This is our home patch. Deluxe is based on Golden Hill Lane in Leyland, so we know the yards on Lancashire Business Park, around Buckshaw Village and along the M6 and M61. If you live locally, your next shift could be minutes from your front door.

• Class 1 (C+E): £17–£22/hr
• Class 2 (C): £16–£21/hr
• Warehouse & FLT: National Living Wage to £16/hr

The work on our doorstep

Leyland has built trucks for over a century and is still a working transport town. Between M6 junction 28 and M61 junction 8 you'll find distribution centres, hauliers and manufacturers that need reliable drivers all year round.

• Class 1 trunking out of Buckshaw Village, days, nights and tramping
• Class 2 rigid and multi-drop work
• Weekend and bank holiday shifts at enhanced rates
• Warehouse and FLT shifts close to home

What you'll need

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence
• A current Driver CPC (DQC) card and digital tachograph card
• Usually at least 1 year's HGV experience
• No more than 6 points on your licence (varies by client)

Questions drivers ask

What do HGV drivers get paid in Chorley and Leyland?

Through Deluxe, Class 1 drivers typically earn £17–£22 an hour and Class 2 drivers £16–£21 an hour. Nights, Saturdays and Sundays pay the most.

Are my hours guaranteed?

On most assignments you're paid a minimum of 8–10 hours per shift. We'll always confirm the exact terms before you accept a job.
