Freight Operations Executive

Deluxe Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Freight Operations Executive on behalf of one of our clients based in Preston, with offices based in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai. 

They provide a one stop solution for their customer's logistics requirements with an excellent one to one personal service. They endeavor to support their customer's growing logistics requirements with the best technical and software solutions and in the most eco-friendly way. With the expertise and support of their staff, they are capable of finding solutions to their customers ever-changing logistics requirements.

Job Specification:

• Dealing with overseas agents, shipping lines and hauliers
• Dealing with customers and HMRC
• Shipment quotes; negotiating and billing
• Customer service
• Day to day operations
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.

Experience/Skills:

• A friendly and professional demeanour
• Previous experience within a similar role required
• Excellent communication skills and experience working within a team
• Ability to work quickly under pressure
• Self-motivated
• Ability to carry out a wide range of tasks, plan and prioritise effectively

• Salary starting from £19,000pa depending on experience

Shift pattern / hours of work: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 with 1 x hours dinner.
