Customs Co-Ordinator

Deluxe Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Customs Co-Ordinator on behalf of one of our clients based in Bolton, Lancashire. 

Our client specialise in movements between the UK and Ireland, handling all customs formalities and provide a bespoke Freight Management service, from start to finish. They have partners and clients nationwide from varied sectors including, retail, and corporate. With the expertise and support of their staff, they are capable of finding solutions to their customers ever-changing logistics requirements.

Job Specification:

• Dealing with all enquiries relating to customs clearance and HMRC requirements 
• Dealing with all aspects of Import & Export customs procedures and regulations
• Creating customs entries for freight arriving and leaving the UK ports
• Liaising with customers and partners to ensure a smooth operation
• Ensuring that all clearance processes are completed in a compliant and timely manner
• Providing information to your team and customers directly relating to HMRC customs and excise for the import / export of shipments via road, air & sea

• Previous experience within a similar role
• Excellent communication skills and experience working within a team
• Ability to work quickly under pressure
• Self-motivated
• Ability to carry out a wide range of tasks, plan and prioritise effectively

Benefits / Salary:

• Salary £23,000 - £30,000 based on experience

Shift pattern / hours of work: Monday - Friday, 08:30: - 17:30 with 1 x hours dinner.
